Saturated in deep greens and shifting blues, the scene reflects the stillness that settles just before the tide turns—a moment that feels both grounded and otherworldly.
Each shell in the Ipswich Scenes Mini Series is carefully prepared with a layer of gesso, allowing the oil paint to move smoothly across the curved surface while preserving the natural texture of the shell. The result is a one-of-a-kind miniature, shaped by the coast and framed by its own form.
